Duke Law & Technology Review (DLTR) is a student-edited journal published at Duke Law School focused on the evolving intersection of law and technology. DLTR is devoted to publishing cutting-edge legal scholarship focused on the doctrinal and practical changes driven by emerging technologies. DLTR examines new developments in technology law, synthesizes them around larger theoretical questions, and critically evaluates their real-world implications. Unlike traditional print law reviews, DLTR is intentionally short, direct, and accessible, publishing scholarship intended to reach lawyers, technologists, policymakers, and the public at large.
Our publications span topics covering the legal and policy implications of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, telecommunications, life sciences, healthcare, business law, criminal law, and other emerging technologies. DLTR focuses on publishing accessible legal scholarship that connects legal doctrine to the practical realities facing lawyers, technologists, and policymakers.
